Bermuda Triangle and the myths and legends that surround it

Bermuda triangle...

Bermuda Triangle or better known as the devils triangle is a strange triangular area on the Atlantic ocean where many ships sailing through it or planes flying over it have apparently disappeared without a trace. In few of such cases where wrecks could be found, the crew had vanished. And such incidents have been happening since centuries long ago. More than 1,000 ships and planes have disappeared in the triangle area over the past five centuries.
This is all happened when there was no technical issues, no human error or equivalent failure. Strange it gives you a feeling maybe something is out there that people don't know about.
The devils triangle is one of the most famous infamous places on earth. The mystery of the Bermuda triangle has caught thousands of people imaginations.  Records have been found dating back to 1851 and as we know of the Bermuda triangle has taken over 8,127 lives and that's the ones that people have recorded. Although this amount of people have had herpes lives taken away from them when people went and searched the wreckages of vesseles there was no bodies or skeletons of the crew left on them. They were gone without a trace abs they've never been found since the day they went missing...creepy.

With eerie accounts of strange lights in the sky, dating back to Christopher Columbus himself, we can see why the triangle is renowned for being more than a little unnerving for all who attempt to cross it.

There are many theories about what goes on in the devils triangle one of these is that it's to do with extraterrestrial presence people believe there is an alien underwater base.

Another theory people believe is that Atlantis lies beneath the devils triangle and holds secret powers of its own.

However there is another theory by renowned scientist Stephen Hawking's is that there may be vortices here which could act as gateways to different dimensions. Maybe this a way for spirits to move between each dimension.

Another theory believed by many is that the triangle is where the devil walks the earth hence why it's called the devils triangle.

Bruce Gernon's experience :

People have experienced electronic fog in the triangle, which can be a Time Travel Tunnel too. Pilot Bruce Gernon claims he lost 28 minutes after flying through a time-warping cloud tunnel. The plane went missing from radars, only to re-emerge in Miami Beach. (Source: The Fog by Bruce Gernon.) 

However there some rational explanations for why things happen there:

Bermuda Triangle is one of the rare places on earth where the compass does not point towards Magnetic North. Instead of that, it point towards true north, which creates confusion and that's why so many ships and planes lost its way.
whenever any plane or ship disappears in the Triangle, its debris cannot be found. The reason behind this is that Gulf Stream runs near the triangle, which quickly gets rid of the debris.

Here are some of the ships and planes that have gone down in the Bermuda triangle:

 Flight 19, 1945

Flight 19 was the title given to five TBM Avenger Torpedo Bombers that disappeared over the Bermuda Triangle, December 5, 1945 during a training flight. All of the brave 14 men who were on the flight disappeared without a trace. Later during the search, a

Martin Mariner Flying Boat also disappeared over the water and was never found with 13 men on board. Flight 19 is one of the most well-known Bermuda Triangle incidents and is the focus of the science fiction thriller movie close encounterswhich show the men being taken to mars after an alien abduction. In the movie the pilots are returned to Earth by their peaceful captors.

Ellen Austin 1981

Ellen Austin was a big American ship that usually transported goods between New York and London. On one of there normal trips they see a another ship heading towards the devils triangle with no crew on it.  The next day they put some of the crew onto the ship to salvage anything left on it worth anything.  The crew attempted to sail it alongside the Ellen Austin to London, but the plans changed when two days later they got separated during a storm and, after a search coming up empty, continued to London. On another trip the Ellen Austin came across the other ship once again and sent crew to salvage it, once again no one was on board and it disappeared days later.
A ghost ship maybe? Creepy....

The USS Cyclops, 1918

This ship was a massive carrier  of fuel for the American fleet during WW1. The ship had 309 people on board and was carrying heavy cargo.  the ship was last heard of in Barbados after loading of its cargo and making its last stretch to Baltimore. It never arrived so a huge search party was sent out however to cover the whole route the Cyclops would have covered fearing the German had bombed the ship and left it's wreckage in the water but no trace was found and nothing was ever found. However in 1941 two of the Cyclops's sisters Dissapered on the same route to never be seen again too.

Well there are so many mysteries surrounding the devils triangle so so many that it would take several lifetimes before we could explain everything that went on there....
